Spotlight on Modern Construction at Expo 2025 Osaka
We’re proud to see our work at World Expo 2025 Osaka featured in The Architects’ Journal, as part of a wider conversation on how Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) are evolving in a rapidly changing global landscape.
The article highlights the potential of MMC when applied with care and precision. Done right, it offers a compelling alternative to traditional building methods—low-carbon, adaptable and efficient, without compromising on quality or architectural ambition.
At Expo 2025, our Global Modular System (GMS) has been used to deliver the UK and Canada pavilions. Designed with circularity in mind, the system is demountable, relocatable and reconfigurable, making it possible to reuse complex structures at scale while maintaining full structural integrity.
It’s a strong example of how modular construction can deliver high-performance, sustainable buildings—through collaboration with architects, engineers and clients who share a vision for better building.
