Le Bourget Climbing Walls at Paris 2024

As part of our wider delivery across 57 sites for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games—including relocatable architecture, tents, containment, and scaffolding structures—ES GLOBAL was proud to deliver the megastructure supporting the climbing walls at the Le Bourget Sport Climbing Venue. Designed with reusability in mind, the structure was built using modular steel trusses that had previously supported the shooting venue at Tokyo 2020 and are now being repurposed once again for the UK Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka. This approach reflects our commitment to sustainable, circular design—creating high-performance temporary venues that leave a lasting legacy without leaving a permanent footprint.
