Showcasing Australia at Expo 2025
Showcasing Australia at Expo 2025
ES GLOBAL would like to acknowledge the talented Australian and Japanese contributors who successfully delivered the highly popular exhibition within the Australia Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
ES GLOBAL brought together a highly experienced team of local and international industry professionals to design, construct, transport and install the exhibition concept, developed by lead design consultants The Buchan Group.
Inspired by the Australia’s theme, Chasing the Sun, the exhibition takes visitors on an immersive journey beginning with a boardwalk through a eucalyptus forest and waterfall, representing Land Country. Along the path, digitally animated Australian fauna is hidden within the tree trunks and cleverly reflected on a mirrored wall. The result is not only a visual masterpiece but a sensory experience enriched by uniquely Australian sounds, scents and lighting.
From there, visitors transition into Sky Country, moving into the evening beneath a southern night sky. Here, a visual interpretation of the Milky Way, or Dark Emu, is revealed through the perspective of Australia’s First Nations Peoples. Finally, the journey concludes in Sea Country, an immersive, digitally animated environment showcasing the beauty and diversity of Australia’s oceans and waterways.
The exhibition has attracted widespread attention in the Japanese media and is now firmly established as a must-see destination at the Expo. With approximately 14,000 people experiencing it each day, it is an outstanding result and a true credit to everyone involved.
Thank you to the ES GLOBAL team for your hard work and a congratulations on the success of the exhibition.
